General Questions
What is Agellic AI?
Agellic AI is a natural language interface for the Keepa API. Instead of building complex API requests, you can search Amazon product data using plain English queries like "find wireless earbuds under $50 with good reviews."
Do I need a Keepa account?
Yes. Agellic uses the Keepa API to fetch Amazon product data. You need an active Keepa API subscription to use Agellic.
How is this different from using Keepa directly?
Keepa provides raw API access and their own browser tools. Agellic adds:
- Natural language queries — No need to learn API parameters
- AI-powered search — Describe what you want in plain English
- Saved searches & lists — Track products and rerun queries
- Background processing — Large jobs run automatically while you work
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your Keepa API key is encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage. We never log or store your plain-text API key. All communication uses HTTPS.
Tokens & Usage
What are Keepa tokens?
Tokens are Keepa's unit for API usage. Different operations cost different amounts of tokens. Your tokens refill every minute based on your Keepa subscription tier. Agellic requires a minimum 20 tokens/minute plan. The standard 1 token/minute plan is too slow for conversational use. See the Keepa Tokens guide for detailed costs and plan recommendations.
Do I need to worry about running out of tokens?
No. Agellic manages your tokens automatically. When you request a large operation:
- The system checks available tokens
- If more are needed, the job queues and processes as tokens refill
- You can keep working while jobs run in the background
- Jobs continue even if you close the browser
You'll never see "insufficient tokens" errors—the system handles it for you.
How can I speed up large jobs?
Large jobs are limited by your Keepa plan's token refill rate. To process faster:
- Upgrade your Keepa plan for more tokens per minute
- Use cached data — Previously fetched products are free to access
- Work with smaller lists when you need quick results
Searches & Results
Which Amazon marketplaces are supported?
Agellic supports 11 Amazon marketplaces:
- Americas: US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil
- Europe: UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain
- Asia-Pacific: Japan, India
Specify the marketplace in your query (e.g., "find products in Germany" or "search amazon.co.uk").
Why are my search results different from Keepa's website?
Agellic and Keepa's website may use different default filters or display options. If you need specific results, be explicit about your filters in your query.
How long is data cached?
Product data is cached for 24 hours. Refreshing a product list fetches fresh data from Keepa.
How long do cross-marketplace lookups take?
Cross-marketplace searches involve multiple steps per product (UPC/EAN lookup, foreign marketplace search, pricing retrieval), so they take longer than standard lookups. A list of 10–20 products will process over several messages. Larger lists (50+) run as background jobs. Why is the price different from what I see on Amazon?
Keepa data may be a few hours old depending on when the product was last tracked. For real-time prices, always verify on Amazon directly before making decisions.
Saved Data
How many searches can I save?
- Free trial: 5 saved searches, 5 product lists
- Paid subscription: Unlimited
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export saved searches and product lists as CSV or JSON:
- Ask the agent: "Download my search as CSV"
- Or use the export option in the card menu on the Saved Searches or Product Lists pages
Saved searches export as ASIN lists. Product lists export with full product data including prices, ranks, and trends.
What happens to my saved data if I cancel?
Your saved searches and product lists remain accessible in read-only mode permanently. You can view and export your data at any time, but you cannot create new content, send chat messages, or refresh data until you reactivate your subscription.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Profile tab > Delete Account. You'll need to enter your password to confirm. This permanently deletes all your data including saved searches, product lists, chat history, and cancels any active subscription. This action cannot be undone.
Background Jobs
Do jobs keep running if I close the browser?
Yes. Once a job starts, it continues processing on our servers. You can close your browser, and the job will complete. Check progress anytime from the Saved Searches or Product Lists pages.
How do I check on a running job?
- Ask the agent: "What jobs are running?"
- Or look for the progress indicator on your saved search or product list cards
Can I cancel a running job?
Yes. Ask the agent to cancel it, or use the cancel option on the job's progress indicator. Unused tokens are refunded automatically.
Billing
How much does Agellic cost?
We offer a 14-day free trial, then a monthly subscription. See the Billing page for current pricing.
Do I pay for Keepa tokens separately?
Yes. Agellic is a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) service. You maintain your own Keepa subscription and use your own tokens. Agellic charges separately for the AI interface and features.
Can I get a refund?
Contact support@agellic.com within 7 days of a charge for refund requests. We handle these on a case-by-case basis.
Troubleshooting
The chat isn't responding
Try these steps:
- Check your internet connection
- Refresh the page
- Verify your Keepa API key is set in Settings
My API key isn't working
Common issues:
- Typo in the key — Copy/paste directly from Keepa
- Expired subscription — Check your Keepa account status
- Wrong key type — Make sure you're using an API key, not a browser extension key
A job seems stuck
Large jobs can take time depending on your Keepa plan. A 300-item list refresh might take 30+ minutes on a 20 tokens/min plan. Check the progress indicator—if it's still showing progress, it's working. If you believe something is wrong, cancel the job and try again.
